The Augmented Crime Scene App allows you to view UK crimes that have occurred within the last month, up to 1 mile from your current location. It uses a combination of GPS, Camera Compass and Internet to display crimes by category either in map view or and augmented view through the camera. The augmented view displays crime information relative to the direction the camera is pointing and overlays the information on the screen. These screen overlays can be touched to display additional information about the crime. A filter allows you to display any of the crime categories individually.
This shows you the different types of crimes tht have happened around you. By pressing the menu button on your phone you can filter on the different type of crimes.
This view is shown in landscape mode and by pointing the camera in different directions the crimes will be layed over the current view. Again you can press the crimes for more detail and filter by pressing the menu button on the phone.
